Host a 5-Day Club

5-Day Host brochure What do host families do?
Open their backyard, recreation room or porch for the club.

Help invite boys and girls to the club, showing the children where the club will be held. (Printed instructions are available through the local CEF office).

Help write down the children's names, addresses and other information.

Prepare a simple snack for the children.

In some cases sit with the children during the club and help solve discipline problems that may occur.

Say goodbye to the children and encourage them to attend the next day. On the last day of the club, remind those who have received correspondence courses to fill them out and mail them in.
