The career missionary helps organize ministries and training so boys and girls will hear the Gospel. 
The career missionary trains others to evangelize children and establish them in the Word of God. 
Some career missionaries are involved in limited children's evangelism, while others have received a call to direct ministry to boys and girls. 
Child Evangelism Fellowship is looking for career missionaries with a spirit of adventure who are willing to pioneer a CEF work from the ground up. 
Printers, maintenance workers, secretaries, accountants, artists, editors - a variety of career missionaries are needed at home and overseas. 
 
Personal experience of salvation through Jesus Christ. Consistent Christian life and character. Ability to sign the CEF Statement of Faith. 
Graduate of a Bible or secular college and the equivalent of one year of Bible training. (Those who lack these qualifications but have the advantage of thorough spiritual knowledge and experience in Christian service will be considered on that basis.) 
Previous Christain service in a church or ministry to demonstrate ability and commitment. 
Complete and submit the Careers Opportunities Preliminary Application Request Form. 
Request an application and submit it to the recruitment department. (You may email us here or more information.) 
Once an application and references have been received, an interview with the USA, international ministries or other department will follow. 
Children's Ministry Institute® (CMI), a concentrated course in child evangelism, teacher training and leadership, is required for some areas of full-time service. 
For some positions you will be placed with an established USA office for a period of 6 - 18 months. This may take place before or after deputation, depending on the situation. 
You will be given a budget and be expected to raise the required amount of financial and prayer support. |
